Porterdavis breaks into Americana Top 40

(9/14/09) - Porterdavis has been quickly rising in the ranks of the Americana radio charts, and have now broken into the Top 40. The fact that the album debuted at #83, and this being the band's first album to receive radio airplay, shows great potential for the future of this album and for the band. Porterdavis wins three Austin Music Awards

(3/18/09) - Winning for Best Roots Rock, Best Drums (Mike Meadows) and Best Instrument Miscellaneous (Simon Wallace, harmonica). The band placed in seven categories overall (other categories were Best Blues, Best Austin Band, Best Male Vocal and Best Electric Guitar). porterdavis is profoundly grateful to their loyal fans and feels great about the honors.

Gurf Morlix to produce new porterdavis album

(10/24/08) - Porterdavis is currently recording a full-length studio album with acclaimed musician/ performer/ producer Gurf Morlix. Gurf was Lucinda Williams' band leader for 11-years and produced two of her albums.
